July -- Boracay Beach
Sheltered from the fierce easterly typhoons, Boracay can be found at the northwestern tip of Panay, in the west Visayas, off the Sibuyan Sea. Boracay has managed to pack its thousand-hectare area with the elements of tropical paradise - crystalline powder white sands, liberal doses of tropical palms and flowering plants, and healthy variety of marine life underneath the seas.

Built during the Spanish era, the Bantay Church's archetectural design features baroque and gothic influences. Its belfry atop a nearby hill was also used as a lookout for approaching enemies. Today its massive bells still toll on Sundays and special holidays and fiestas. The town of Bantay, Ilocos Sur, sits just outside Vigan, the province's capital city.
September -- Luneta Park
Luneta Park is a vast expanse of open space right in the middle of the city of Manila. It has a miniature replica of the Philippine islands, numerous fountains that dance to the piped-in music, Japanese and Chinese Gardens and a monument to Dr. Jose P. Rizal, the country's national hero.
